  1. Well, if we didn't believe that, we wouldn't be JWs, now would we?

Seeing as h**l is simply the grave, EVERYONE (JW or not) who dies, is ging to h**l.

But Vot gets what you meant. The Bible warns everyone to get out of false religion (Babylon the Great) before she gets destroyed.

    Revelation 18:1-4

  2. Why are you asking just the JWs?

Many Religions say they are the only true Christians.

Why aren't you asking them all?

  3. Seeing as we dont believe in h**l Fire, no you are no going there.

Do the Witnesses believe that their religion is the only right one?

Anyone who is serious about his religion should think that it is the right one. Otherwise, why would he or she be involved in it? Christians are admonished: "Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is fine." (1 Thessalonians 5:21) A person should make sure that his beliefs can be supported by the Scriptures, for there is only one true faith. Ephesians 4:5 confirms this, mentioning "one Lord, one faith, one baptism." Jesus did not agree with the modern, relaxed view that there are many roads, many religions, all leading to salvation. Instead, he said: "Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it." Jehovah's Witnesses believe that they have found it. Otherwise, they would look for another religion.—Matthew 7:14.

  4. The Bible can answer this question for you if you are willing to listen, at Matthew 7: 13,14 ,says; Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destuction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14; Because strait is the gate and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it........also in the book of Revelation False religion is referred to as BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. chapter 17 verse 5; and in chapter 18 : verse 4 says; And i heard another voice from heaven, saying,"Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 5; For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities......so the only way to escape is to get out of Babylon The Great which we as Witnesses have done, because compared to all the other religions we are just a few...............if you want to learn more about us try talking to them in your area, and get the book WHAT DOES THE BIBLE REALLY TEACH. and get into a Bible study, you will certainly be surprised what you will learn, or you can send me an email,ok

  5. I will give you an example from what Catholic teaches.

    1) non-believer's of Jesus  (sorry h**l and brimstone)

    2) belief in Jesus half heartedly (sorry again, purgatory)

    3) Jesus as your Lord (God) and Savior (only way to paradise which is heaven).

Some religions accept Jesus as a lesser god and some accept Jesus as God.  What does Jesus mean to you is how your life will be determined.  I will add that purgatory is just as bad as h**l, you know the gnashing and gnawing of teeth outside the locked heavenly gate.  By the way I am a Catholic but none practicing.  I was not ex-communicated.  The Catholic Leaders changed their ways to better the love in themselves as WWJD.  Don't get so messed up in the bondage of man.  Be FREE!

  6. More than a century ago, Jehovah's Witnesses recognized the Bible truths that h**l is not hot, that the soul is not immortal, that God has a personal name, that Jesus is not Jehovah, that most humans will be resurrected as humans, and that God's Messianic Kingdom will restore paradise to earth and end the suffering of humankind.

More than 130 years later, those ideas remain unchanged and unique to Jehovah’s Witnesses. Unique also is their decades of incomparable global preaching work, which was also unique to the first Christians. It’s also undeniable that the beliefs and practices of early Christians became more accurate even during the decades during which the bible was still being written (eg. hope for Samaritans, circumcision, hope for Gentiles, dietary requirements, Sabbaths, tongues, commemoration of Last Supper). Early Christians were always happy when such matters were resolved, and immediately resumed the preaching work which Jehovah's Witnesses continue.

...(Acts 13:46-49) Paul and Barnabas said: “...Since you [Jews] are thrusting it away from you and do not judge yourselves worthy of everlasting life, look! we turn to the nations. In fact, Jehovah has laid commandment upon us in these words, ‘I have appointed you as a light of nations, for you to be a salvation to the extremity of the earth.’” When those of the nations heard this, they began to rejoice and to glorify the word of Jehovah... Furthermore, the word of Jehovah went on being carried throughout the whole country.

...(Acts 15:23-35;16:4,5) By their hand they wrote: “The apostles and the older men, brothers...we have come to a unanimous accord...For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden to you, except these necessary things, to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled...” ...they gathered the multitude together and handed them the letter. After reading it, they rejoiced over the encouragement. And...teaching and declaring, with many others also, the good news of the word of Jehovah. ...Now as they traveled on through the cities they would deliver to those there for observance the decrees that had been decided upon by the apostles and older men who were in Jerusalem. Therefore, indeed, the congregations continued to be made firm in the faith and to increase in number from day to day.

  7. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that anyone who does not submit to the authority of their Governing Body can't possilbly be a true Christian. This is similar to the (former?) Catholic teaching that salvation comes through submiting to the "Pope."

They also believe that anyone failing to submit to their Governing Body will be destroyed in Armageddon (however, it is a rare occurence that they will  clearly and publically state this to be true).  They do not believe in a literal, eternal torment, despite the following list of scriptures:

Anyone who believes that they may be teaching truth would be wise to pray, research and challenge away, before the stakes get higher! (accusations of apostacy, loss of family and friends, scarred children, the list goes on) And all in the name of "Unity!" For this reason and many others, the Jehovah's Witnesses are widely recognized as a psychologically and spiritually abusive cult.

These words are not mine, but I hope you'll find them helpful! :)

All religions have one thing in common: they encourage their members to work as hard as they can to gain everlasting life, the celestial kingdom, nirvana, or whatever else they want to call it.

Biblical Christianity, however, is different. Instead of earning our goal as a reward, it is offered to us freely as a gift through Jesus Christ as the perfect sacrifice, whose offering of Himself was complete to earn our way to everlasting life with God the Father.

As Jesus Christ was dying, he said “It is finished” because from that point on, all anyone had to do was to trust His sacrifice to cover their sins. Everyone needs this sacrifice because the Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 that we are all sinners.

We are in such bad condition that when we try to earn favor with God through our good works, Isaiah 64:6 tells us that our righteous deeds are like filthy rags to God. In Mark 10:27 Jesus is answering His disciples’ question, “who then can be saved?” He said, “with man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.”

God realizes that man cannot possibly save himself through door-to-door preaching or ordinances of a church. That’s why God did not send an organization or a church to offer us peace with God, but He sent His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but through me.”

  8. We DO indeed believe that our religion is the right one.

Anyone who is serious about his religion should think that it is the right one. Otherwise, why would he or she be involved in it?

Christians are admonished: "Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is fine." 1 Thessalonians 5:21 A person should make sure that his beliefs can be supported by the Scriptures, for there is only one true faith.

Also, we believe that h**l is the common grave of mankind.  Jehovah God wants ALL to attain to repentance so they can have a chance at everlasting life.  He is the personification of love, justice, wisdom & power.

  9. Everyone appreciates being able to make personal choices, including the choice of religious affiliation. But having the freedom to choose does not guarantee that a person will make the right choice. Some people, for example, choose a religion on the basis of its size, wealth, ceremonial pageantry, or their family ties. None of these things are in any way decisive in determining whether a religion is the true one or not. The pivotal question in this matter is: Which religion urges its followers to do God’s will and gives solid evidence of divine backing, so that its adherents can say with confidence, “God is for us”?

Jesus laid down the rule for distinguishing true worship from false when he said: “Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will recognize them.” (Matthew 7:15, 16; Malachi 3:18)

Ask yourself, ‘What religious group is noted for sticking closely to God’s Word, even when its teachings differ from the beliefs of most people? Who stress the importance of God’s personal name, even using it to identify themselves? Who optimistically point to God’s Kingdom as the only solution to all human problems? Who uphold Bible standards of conduct, at the risk of being considered old-fashioned? What group is noted for having no paid clergy, all of its members being preachers? Who are praised for being law-abiding citizens, even though they refrain from taking part in politics? Who lovingly spend time and money in helping others to learn about God and his purposes? And despite all of these positive things, who are still looked down on, ridiculed, and persecuted?’

Is it presumptuous of Jehovah’s Witnesses to point out that they alone have God’s backing? Actually, no more so than when the Israelites in Egypt claimed to have God’s backing in spite of the Egyptians’ belief, or when first-century Christians claimed to have God’s backing to the exclusion of Jewish religionists. The facts speak for themselves. In 235 lands Jehovah’s Witnesses are doing the work Jesus foretold that his true followers would be doing in the time of the end: “This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.”—Matthew 24:14.

Jehovah’s Witnesses will continue to carry out this commission, never allowing persecution or opposition to impede their activity. Jehovah’s work must and will be done. Every attempt others have made during the past century to hinder the Witnesses from accomplishing God’s work has ended in ultimate failure, for Jehovah promised: “Any weapon whatever that will be formed against you will have no success, and any tongue at all that will rise up against you in the judgment you will condemn. This is the hereditary possession of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness is from me.”—Isaiah 54:17.

As for going to h**l- everyone goes there when they die- even the Son of God ( Acts 2:31)KJ..But he did not remain there. So there is always hope of getting out of h**l.

  10. To answer that Q,

without asking the millions of Jehovah's servants,

now upon the earth... why he / she thinks J' W's are the

"only true Christians," I'd have to either go straight to the Bible,

and or just give my own reasoning's.

After a through and earnest study of the Scriptures,

    I realized, (through God's blessing)

    that Jehovah's Witnesses are Witnesses

    for the true God, Jehovah.

Then is when I started a Bible book study

    with Jehovah's servants.

I had already (like millions of other people) seen the hypocrisy of the churches.

And every other sort of wickedness coming from them.

i.e. not teaching the truth about God and His Son Jesus.

They are filled up with idolatry, the statues and crosses,

lie about God's purpose for mankind,

lie about God's intended purpose for the earth,

teaching that we have an immortal soul,

that when we die we go to heaven or h**l--LIE.

and other false teachings, such as the trinity,

wicked, bad, men advancing from bad to worse,

and these men lead the Congregation?,

accepting women as leaders of the Congregation of God,

homosexuality, and other forms of loose conduct,

selling the things of God, adding to their riches,

    living a lavish lifestyle.

    In bed with the world;

a friend of the world, is enemity with God.

Approving of WAR. Sending our husbands, sons,

    nephews, grandsons,

to Go Kill-Murder other husbands, sons,

    nephews, grandsons.

Possibly, even killing your own spiritual Brother,

a man in your own faith!

It's all abhorrent, to Jehovah God; also,

to one with a true heart, looking to serve the true God, Jehovah.

Jehovah's servants do none of this.

Jehovah's Witnesses' are true servants of Jehovah God.

We strive to imitate Christ, the unique Son of God.

We are fulfilling the commission given by Jesus to his followers: Matt 24:14.

As for your 2nd Q, I found an a magazine article,

    that you may find interesting.

It's up to you if you'd like more information about h**l.
