  1. CAMP IN NOT OUT Drape some bed sheets or blankets over your dining table to make a tent. Get your kids to pick a few essentials to take into the tent with them. Pack some snacks and drinks in a lunchbox and your kids can pretend they are out in the bush camping.

    Get messy! Can't play in the dirt? Play in the tub with shaving cream, bathtub paints, and bath crayons. Don't want a bath? Paint with finger-paints or, for easier cleanup, let your kids paint with chocolate and vanilla pudding cups. Yummy!

    Hope this helps!

  2. Make fort from boxes;

    blocks;

    painting;

    trains and train table;

    pets;

    dancing and jumping;

    go somewhere ANYWAY despite the rain; and best of all...

    puddle stomping!

  3. Play-Doh every time. I've never seen her sit still for so long. "Hello Mr Wiggly Worm", she says.

    It's messy, but worth it.

  4. mine is too. he is very gross-motor oriented. Maybe putting together a game where the child has to jump on different colors or ABCs (small paper plates would work well for this). colorwonder markers and paints are good. riding a trike in a basement with a cement floor. You can also check out leaps and bounds or onestepahead for indoor activities. I know I have seen a swing/chin-up bar thing that mounts in a doorway.

  5. I'm assuming that your child is a boy, even if you have a girl, this is the best fun you can have on a snow day or in your case rain,  Get your child's blankets and let them take off your couch cushions, build a fort it's SO fun, they think it's a club house and get hours of fun out of it!

  6. Turning on kids music and just jumping and dancing around the house keeps them occupied. I also find that just letting them help out with house work is great...I have a two year old and a five year old and doing dishes is a bigger chore with them helping but they enjoy it.. also bake cookies or anything that you like baking just let the kid help you around the house honestly they really enjoy it if you make a game out of it

  7. on a rainy day i always buil forts in side i use card board boxes blakets and more take the card board boxes and put them how you want then put the blankets over them. you can also play with blocks,paint,you can color,hide and seek,and more

  8. Painting, play-doh, musical games, puzzles, interactive toys you can do with them.

  9. Dinosaur Jigsaw Puzzle is a great kid activity. Your kid will have countless enjoyable hours with this educational jigsaw puzzle.

    There are so many in this link and you will se how happy he is going to be and you too http://www.1888toys.com/index.asp?PageAc...
