I have a 14 year old son and am wondering about teenager and p**n. A mom in the neighborhood said that many teenage boys and girls are watching internet p**n and they are under 18. I thought this was illegal but to kids still do it? When did you start watching it or how old was someone you know watching it? Should I suspect my son of watching it?

  1. Its perfectly normal for teenagers to do.

  2. many kids do it (im 14)

but many kids out from my school do it etc,i think its better then actually having s*x (it keeps them away)

it may cause concern but as long as u dont have any proof ur son does it then DONT suspect him,if u just say ''i THINK ur watching p**n'' they will be like ''errr ok,prove it mother ! ''

its kinda like saying every kid smokes, drinks etc

many kids DO do it but many also dont so dont be afraid or suspicious until u have anything to be worried about

as the person above said, child porno** i wrong etc and SICK most of all !!

but the fact that watching it  can keep them away from the real thing,it does it by when you touch urself while watching it then u feel and pretty much understnd the feeling so u dont feel as if you HAVE TOO have s*x naturally with someone else

hope i helped xoxo good luck

  3. I first saw p**n when I was ten. It was a little shocking at first, but then it didn't really matter to me much. I think all teenagers are interested in it at some point, it's the whole curiosity with growing up. I honestly don't see anything wrong with it, because it's just on the screen, and nobody gets hurt watching it. When I have a son or daughter and I find out they're watching p**n, I'll say "good! as long as you're not having s*x!"

  4. well many people do it and well you can always talk to him about communication is the key however if will be embarrassing just be nice bout it or you can go to the history of your computer an see just don't get mad if you find anything cause you looked. Or you can just TRUST him and hope he isn't doing it but at the end boy's will be boy's

  5. alot of my guy friends say that they watch it & they are under 18

i dont b/c i think it is gross, but most of them say it is normal for kids there age to watch it =X

  6. its difficult for u to prevent him from watching. but surely he should not until 20-21.

  7. Alot of guys i know say they watch it and m********e to it

I first saw p**n when i was 6 or 7.( My Parents weren't to big on parental control on the TV). Some people say it helps with teenagers to control the urge to have s*x.But your child so you decide if you want him watching or not.

    I dont watch it anymore

  8. he's a boy he's watching it young boy's usually get there first experience watching p**n young

  9. Well s*x is a natural urge. And boys start getting erections at about 14. So if he is masturbating to p**n there is nothing wrong with it. Its easy to find on the internet. To distribute or sell to an underage teen is illegal but if they access it themselves on the internet or something then it is not against the law. p**n sites only ask if they are over 18 to view it because of liability. But if the child clicks yes then from there it isn't the websites responsibility so they only ask that so they won't get sued.

  10. It may be illegal, but who is going to arrest them, the Internet Police?  All they have to do is answer "Yes" to "Are you over 18?" or input a fake birthday, and voila, they have access to unimaginable amounts of very, very graphic p**n.  Unfortunately, it IS quite prevalent.  If he's 14, he's probably looked at some sites.  When we were their age, it was Playboy and Hustler -- the pictures invited all sorts of fantasies.  Now, they don't even have to imagine, they can watch people doing it in all sorts of positions, in all sorts of situations, to all sorts of people and including some very off-the-wall fetishes.

Why not just ask him if he's ever looked at any x-rated sites?  He'll be horribly embarrassed, but it's important to keep a dialog open on topics like this.  Without being judgemental, it would be a good idea to point out that many, many x-rated sites carry viruses that can really mess up a computer, which is actually a decent reason to avoid them. Also, it's a chance to discuss your values with him with regards to sexuality, and how internet p**n gives curious young people a very skewed idea of what s*x is like. Most women don't screech and howl during s*x, most men don't have 9" penises, and none of them are in the context of a loving, committed, monogomous relationship.

Plus, p**n is highly addictive. Men, especially since they are such visual creatures, experience a chemical reaction in the brain that is almost a "high" from sexual stimulation.  The more p**n they watch, the more they experience this "high", and the more they crave it.

  11. I'm 18...I've never watched it and don't believe it's right, but I know many people who have, especially boys.

It's very true that lots of teenage boys find ways to watch it, but don't suspect your son of it unless you have reason to. I know plenty of guys that DON'T watch it.

  12. you should

  13. Well, it's illegal. But all that these sites do is ask "Are you 18 or over?" and you can click yes or no. So it's not that hard to get around it. Teenagers are full of raging hormones and surging sexual impulses. Internet p**n and masturbation are usually the preferred method of relieving these urges without actually having s*x. I suspect pretty much everyone of watching p**n at least occasionally. It projects unrealistic sexual roles and "endowment" but besides that, I don't see the big harm in it. The exclusion here, obviously, is child pornography. That's sick and wrong.

  14. Hmm, you are  his mother and you're asking here. Well is there a computer in your house? If there is where is it? If he has it in his room where you can't see where on the net he's going, then he might be going to some of those sites. Illegal, well not really. You as a parent need to move his computer into the living room here you can see what he's doing. You are the parent, you are responsible for his welfare. so BE HIS PARENT!!!! if he gets upset because you move his computer, so what. Be his Parent, not his friend.

You are assuming that you should almost expect the fact that he will someday at some magic age. That is totally wrong. he does NOT ever have to be exposed to p**n anywhere.

  15. Lots of kids still do it, but not all of them.

    I'm 15 and I never have, and I don't plan on it.

No one i know has watched it/watches it, either.

    So there's a chance that he isn't watching it. Don't worry. [:

If you're really worried, you could ask him or have his father ask him.

But that would be pretty awkward..

  16. Well, I'm no ordinary teenager so I'm more responsible and trust worthy. So, the best thing to do is sit down with your son and talk about it with your feeling of an internet p**n. My parents trusts me and they talk about their feelings of whatever I do on the computer as long it's apporiate. I think you should talk to him and it's the best way to do it. I hope I helped out.

  17. Kids can watch p**n, most sites just ask you to say you are 18, therefore it isn't the site's fault if underage kids are watching.

Buy a parental block for his computer.

  18. I don't know any teeaged male that doesn't watch it. Look in your internet history or move your computer into the family room. Tell him your feelings about it and ask him to talk to you about it.

  19. Im a 20 year old girl that started to be curious about these things when i was 9! yeah, i know, very young. At the age of puberty is when your hormones start to rise up sky high, So i believe that someway somehow your son HAS had urges, dont panic, just instruct him and guide him. Dont invade his privacy, but if you're too concerned, ask him. you are his mom!

  20. Ask him/ talk to him
