  1. When it comes to buying a snowboard... for any price range, go with Burton. They make a much better quality product, than any snowboarding manufacturer.  Also, the maintenance is easier, I never wax my board (burton twin) and it rides just as well as when i got it.

  2. As a manufacturer, Burton easily dresses down both of the other two you've listed. They're a bit on the pricey side but you really cant go wrong with just about anything they make. I just picked up a Vapor on sale and cant wait to get to ride it. I've owned a supermodel and a custom and they were two of the best boards I've ever owned. In fact, since I bought my first burton, I've only bought one other non-burton board (a ride ul concept) and if I had to do over again I'd probably have just gone with an X8 instead.

Next would be the liquid but I wouldnt recommend any Rossignol boards. They're great for skiis but, for snowboards, stick to snowboard companies... Burton, LibTech, Forum, Ride, etc...

    Hope that helped.

EDIT- @ George... I've never strapped a 2x4 to my feet and tried to ride that either... doenst mean I dont know the ride would suck. Rosignol is YEARS behind snowboard manufacturers like Burton or LibTech. If you spend X amount of money, you'll get the least for it with the Rossi. A $350 burton would beat out the top of the line $600 Rossi Works any day of the week.

  3. Rossignol specializes in skis not snowboards.

    Liquid has mediocre  products.

Burton has very reliable products and warranty.

  4. ok i have never seen the liquid snowboard, but i would recommend the burton raven over the rossignol.  burton boards have a high flexibility-before-break, and they dont come apart easily.  burtons hold their wax and dont get torn up on the bottom as much as other boards

  5. Ok the people who gave opinions on the rossi have obviously never ridden one.  If they had then they would know the quality.  The new models especially next years magni traction boards are great.  Other than that they are correct.  Burton is great and always stand behind their boards.  Liquid is very entry level.  I used to have one almost 12 years ago.  I noticed you asked about the liquid is a previous post.  I'm guessing it's used so perhaps spend the $30 for the complete set-up and try it out.  Once you get comfortable with snowboarding then I would suggest stepping up to Burton.  It all depends on what condition these boards are in as well.  Most of the time you get what you pay for.
