  1. Have it checked up, seriously, that's what doctors are for. If it's larger than the other, please don't freak out, but frankly, there is a possibility of it being testicular cancer if one is bigger than the other. Have a check up ASAP.

  2. This is common for men.  It could be any variety of things, and you should see a doctor right away.  I'm sure if you talk to your dad he will understand, and will probably have had something similar happen to him.  It may be awkward, but it's so common you have nothing to be embarrassed about.

-the risk for cancer at 14 is pretty much non-existent, but Hernia's are very common as are other things such as cysts.  These things need to be taken care of by a doctor right away because they can harm you if you don't treat them, but once treated there's nothing to worry about.  These are common things that happen to 14 year olds.

  3. You could have an infection, a cyst, a hernia, or any number of other things going on.  Only a doctor can evaluate something like that, and you do need to see him pretty quick.  Since it's a weekend, call your doctor's office anyway.  You'll get the answering service and they will write down all your symptoms and call the doctor on call this weekend.  The doctor will call you back in a little bit.  Occasionally, there are things that go wrong in and around the testicles that really can't wait 2 or 3 or 4 days.  But call the office, wait for the doctor to call you, and have him decide whether you can wait until Monday or Tuesday to be seen, or whether he needs to see you in the office or in the emergency room today.

  4. you need to tell your parents and get a doctors appt.  dont try to hide it until it gets really bad.  it could be nothing at all and go away in a few days or it could be cancer and require immediate treatment so see a doctor to be safe.
