i am 13 years old, i weight about 135. and im 5'3.

i want to lose 20 pounds. what will happen if i do

4 hours of cardio a day and eat 3 small meals a day?

will i lose weight fast?

  1. I understand that you want to lose the weight fast but if you don't change your current habits that have you in the weight you don't want to be more than likely you will gain it back.

    Take the time and lose the weight as you change your lifestyle you know the things you're doing now that got you where you don't to be, if you consider that as you gradually lose the weight not only will you accomplish your ideal weight but you will KEEP it off.

    Look at what you're eating, eliminate the junk foods, the sodas, the sugars ( a hard one to break) and eat fresh fruits and vegetables, I see that you said 4 hours of cardio .. come on do you want to do 4 hours of cardio for the rest of your life? Incorporate activities in your life that will increase your metabolism, be active in something you LIKE to do, for the rest of your life.

    Cut your portions, chew your food thoroughly this makes it easier on your system to digest, drink good clean water. If you're not sure, if you're not strong don't have the foods you know you like and are not good for you in the house, but don't completely cut yourself from a treat, but this depends on you.

    Think first .. what are you doing NOW, coming home and sitting in front of the TV .. look at your current habits and see how you can change it gradually .. walk, take the stairs and give it time. Personally I would say 7 pounds a month max. is a healthy and safe way to go


  2. That is definitely the worst  thing to do. You do not want to overwork your body. Fifty minutes of cardio every OTHER day is the right thing. That is because the day in between is the day for your body to rest and develop muscles. Your meals don't have to be small but you just have to proportion them right. It would be best if you didn't eat bread after 4:00. Don't eat much directly before you go to bed because the food just sits in your stomach while you are sleeping. Trust me, it is better to lose weight within a longer amount of time and stay healthy then to lose weight fast in an unhealthy way. Hope this helps.  

  3. You will burn alot of calories with 4 hrs of cardio. A long with eating 3 small meals, you shoul lose weight.  

  4. You should as long as what you eat is healthy.  And make sure you continue to eat.  If you cut back on quantity, your metabolism slows down, which will cause you to gain weight.  Just eat the RIGHT foods, and you'll be fine.

    Eat only:

    Meats

    Vegetables

    Fruits

    Dairy

    Don't Eat:

    Breads

    Starches

    Pasta

    c**p

  5. Trust me you may think you want to work out 4 hours a day but that won't happen.

    For now workout everyday--take a rest day every once in awhile though. And eat good healthy food, and drink water.


  6. You will probably kill yourself. Believe it or not, people can die from over working their bodies. Your best bet is just to eat right, and exercise. Cardio for four hours is bad, and you can really mess up yor body, and vital systems.
