Do republicans believe that because Bush gave the working class a 600 dollar rebate that this means he is for lower taxes for the working class? and Tax breaks going to the wealthy and Large business do you believe that the Trickle down theory works? meaning are there more jobs at higher pay now in the US than before Bush took over? Please Explain your answer

I was looking at household Incomes on the US Census Bureau website

which shows a graph of household median incomes over time (median incomes is what you want to know, because it  means - what most households earn, not average that is higher because of all the rich guys)

Households earned more money back in 1999 than at present

So incomes have declined for the last 8 years.

Actually, all of Washington gave out the economic stimulus money.  It was part of trying to improve their image.

Expect another one before the election - as an attempt to buy our vote.

That's the only reason for it.

Bush and Congress gave us this check.

I worked for MCI when Bush took office, there was a hiring freeze, and a pay raise freeze due to the MCI scandal. for Bush's first 3 years in office my pay check went up $50 a week, each year due to his tax cuts. My company never gave me a raise, but he did.

Don't forget Bush took over in a recession. We had 6 months of job loss, the last 6 months of Bill Clinton's office.

I don't think Bush had anything to do with MCI scandals which caused hundreds of dot com companies to go out of business.

He didn't have anything to do Enron which caused the stock market to make its first crash.

He didn't call Bin laden and tell him, come blow us up.  But the terrorist attacks did cripple travel for a long time, which crippled tourism,

All of these events have a trickle down effect. We have to go back up again.

I" think we did pretty good considering what happened his very first year.

You can't blame Bush for China, and India, and Russia for starting to drive.

You kill one part of the economy the rest is slowly going to follow.

If your going to Blame the President for every problem, you will never be happy with any president.

Yes, we have lot's more higher paying jobs in American than in 2000.

We "IN-SOURCE" more jobs by 200% than we OUT-SOURCE.

The liberal media never covers that

Actually it was tax cuts for all....Forgive me but isn't that what we want?  Equal treatment under the law regardless of race, gender, status, wealth. etc?

If it is, then how can you justify taxing higher incomes more than other people?  Is this not discrimination?  I think it is and the most ugly kind....the kind that can only be rationalized with jealousy and selfishness.
