i need to know how the steering is supposed to bolt to the vehicle on a 90's model tempo. the one i'm trying to fix keeps moving back and forth with the steering wheel. its the part that the steering colum shaft run into

  1. 2 u-shaped clamps hold rubber bushings around the steering rack and are held with 2 bolts at each clamp, one on left & one on right.


  2. That's your rack & pinon,it bolts to the fire wall and it takes 4 bolts to hold it in place. It might be easier to lift the car up to replace the bolts.
