My dad has a video camera that I cant use a usb cord to put the videos onto the computer because the video recorder is too old. So how can I get my videos on the internet?

We are guessing you have Panasonic Quasar series VHS-C camcorder.  The exact model was not provided, so this is an educated guess.

The USB cord is for using the camcorder as a webcam and for coping the digital photos off of the memory card (if there is a card slot).
