This is annoying.....

Question

There are people from my school coming to my house that I don't even really know. Its been happening for a month and I keep complaining to my mom and the people coming over but nothings happening. I have no idea how they know where I live or why they want to come over. Its annoying. Yesterday, I was almost asleep and the stupid doorbell rang. They wanted to come in the house but everyone else was asleep so we just talked outside for 45 minutes. My puppies go crazy when someone is at the door too so everyone got woke up anyways.

What should I do?

This happened to my cousin once.

They stopped answering the door and if they wouldn't stop ringing the doorbell, she would answer the door and say that she was busy. After a while, they got the picture and left her alone...

Tell your mom to turn them away. Or hide. They'll eventually leave.

So if you've told them to quit it, I believe you can call the police on them for trespassing. Either that, or just stop answering the door to them.

Tell your mom to tell them to go away, after that it's considered trespassing and harassment.

Hmmm....I hate saying call the police. Is there anybody in your neighborhood (especially if you live east coast) that could "talk" to them in a relatively simple way? Just ask for this significant group of people to tell them to "leave her alone". This sends a crystal clear message.

If that's not the sort of area that you live in, then call the police.

That's called trespassing my dear. I think you answer the next time, tell them to please leave as you are busy and do not come back since you do not know them whatsoever.

If they come back again do not answer.

If they keep ringing the bell shut off all the lights in the house, so they know to keep out.

If they keep doing it finally open the door, yell at them to leave right now.

Then hang a sign on the door that says " Not available, go away unless it's an emergency."

Finally then call the police and complain and complain to your mom to yell at them.

Just flat out tell them. This is my house. Not yours. If you really do want to come over, MAKE A PHONE CALL! If they don't and keep on coming over, confront your mom about this. If not? Just tell them to **** off! It sounds rough but it maybe the only way to make them get the point. lol

You must be extremely popular.  Tell them that since you are pregnant you need rest and need to limit your time with them.  Also tell them they are upsetting the puppies.

Edit - congratulations.  Now then tell them they are upsetting and waking the baby.

Approach your "friends" with the situation first. If it does not resolve the issue, contact the police.
