5 months before my wedding and no wedding theme yet, my wedding planner already has all of the information about the wedding themes of my choice the problem is i don't know what to choose

winter wonderland

or

earthy romantic/sophisticated theme (using tealights and everything, wedding colors would be chocolate brown and moss green)

my wedding is going to be this winter, but i thought that having a winter wonderland wedding ON winter isn't really surprising on winter so i thought, why don't i take my guests to a very different and uncommon atmosphere? but i really like the winter wonderland theme too, it would be better if it would sonw that day (btw, are there any sompanies or whatever out there that makes snow?) it would be so fairytale and enchanted which is awesome...

  1. I like both ideas. However, I think the earthy one would be awesome. I hate weddings and I would WANT to go to a wedding like that. If it was outside anyways, I hate inside weddings in churches and everything. I think it's way to predictable and I think churches are ugly inside anyways... unless they are ancient.

Anyways, if you do that I think this would look amazing but only with the colors you had in mind:

I wish you luck and I think you have really good ideas.

  2. Flip a coin.  While it's up in the air, you'll know which way you're hoping it will land.  If you really don't, then just go with what the coin says.

  3. Personally, i'd go with the earthy/romantic theme. It would still be gorgeous having the colours you mentioned... Whether it's snowing or not, i just think it would be beautiful...

I'd be afraid the winter wonderland theme might come off as a bit corny. But it all depends how it's done. theres nothing more romantic than being in the middle of winter and walking into a room filled with tealights.. But thats me

    Go with what feels right..

  4. winter wonderland is best even tho it seems more traditional...it would be super beatiful!!!

    hope i helped =]

  5. I'd go for the chocolate brown and moss green with tealights theme if I had to choose between the two.

If it is cold outside, it would be nice for it to be cozy looking inside.

  6. ild go for the earthly type

  7. no matter which theme you go for the lanterns would be awesome

i know other brides ahve recommended this site for them

    http://www.asianideas.com/lanterns2.html

    they really are beautiful

As for which theme to go with,, much as i love winter and snow etc, its my favourite season, winter weddings have been done to varying degrees quite a bit,

your other idea of earthy romantic sounds so wonderful, and chocolate brown and moss green sounds very rich and warm, and begs to be candle lit and romantic, i think you could do so much with this one, and it would be llike no other

you can hire machines to produce snow, either fake dry snow, or wet, almost, real snow should you wish to go with the winter theme

one question though, what are you paying a co ordinator for if they are not bombarding you with ideas, items and themes? they should have given you masses of samples and pictures to aid you in your decision and if they were doing their job properly they would have either shown you so much you would be swayed one way or another, or they would be promoting one over the other to get the wheels in motion,

good luck in your decision, and of course your wedding
