This is creepy. Just a coincidence? or not?

I just watched the movie, "the number 23"

and I figured this out about the 9/11 attacks.

september 11th 2001

9+11+2+1= 23

On that morning nineteen terrorists affiliated with al-Qaeda hijacked four commercial passenger jet airliners

19+4= 23

8:52 AM September 11th:

Two F-15s take off from Otis Air Force Base.

15+15+2=32

and 32 backwards is 23

9:03 AM: Flight 175 crashes into the south WTC tower. [23 minutes after air traffic suspected that flight had been hiijacked]

23 minuts.

Just a coincidence?

Numbers can be manipulated in many different ways. It's just a matter of finding enough variables to dump into the equation, until it becomes creepy.

Yep, just a coincidence.  There are a lot of ways to manipulate numbers to make it look like something meaningful.  Some of those are as big of a stretch as I've ever seen.

The first one of these I saw was shortly after the assassination of JFK in 1963.  The author was not using numbers but names and circumstances.  He was able to run a string of about 20 coincidences together in an attempt to draw parallels between the two killings.

For every one he came up with I wrote ten sentences listing dissimilarities.  If you look hard enough you can parallel two events in about as many ways as you are willing to reach for straws.  The reversing of the integers in 32 in order to get 23 is a classic example.

Its fun and it's entertaining but it is nothing more than that.

LAST SHOT:

9+3+1+7+5=25, as I recall the towers were numbered and they were struck in reverse order.  I.E. tower 2 was hit first, so:  9+3+1+7+5=25-2=23 and we all know 23 backwards is 32.

Just have fun with it but it is no more significant than fortune tellers or astrologers.

I honestly think that if you looked hard enough you could come up with 23 for just about anything. So in my opinion its a coincidence.

Not to mention that if you're in a room with 22 other people you're the 23rd! If your three legged cat is in a room with 5 other cats, there will be 23 working cat legs in that room.

It's all meaningless coincidence. Curious, yet ultimately meaningless. Don't worry about it.

23 is the easiest number to do this with.  You can make almost anything equal 23.  So it really is just a coincidence.
