ok, so play for a club volleyball team and every year im either the shortest or the 2nd shortest person on the team! so im limited in what positions i can play. im a setter, i loved setting but then i got sick of not being able to play front row, or able to dig out of the back row. and now i want to play outside hitter but i cant cuz im to short(b.t.w im 5'3) how do i own up to my height so i can play more positions?

  1. Yeah me too i didn't make the team becaue of my height!  Any way I've been working really hard at all my overall vollleyball skills and I am also a setter and outside hitter.  By working extremely hard prove to your coach you are an all around volleyball player and that you are not going to let your size get in the way of how you play and that you can play anywhere you are needed. Good luck!

  2. I have the exact same issue with volleyball and everything.

I actually am an outside hitter now. You really need to jump

to spike that ball, and outshine all those tall girls. Just work hard

and show good enthusiasm, I'm your coach will be satisified.

    (: good luck

  3. your not short your FUN SIZED    im short and i play volleyball get used to being a setter or do some frogs (the excercise not the reptile) its ok the setters are the coolest
