how are the rips made in those jeans? they are so cute and when i try myself it looks like c**p! please help

  1. When the company manufactures the jeans in their factories, they make the rips. I worked at Hollister, and I now work at Hco, and no, we do not rip the jeans whatsoever. All we do for clothes is steam it in the back stock room.

    Rips are usually made with sandpaper, or another coarse material, to destroy the denim carefully. Then, the company steams the jeans and seals in their frangrance by spraying it.

    the workers don't rip them.

    it's they way they are sewn.
