Question:

This is kind of an odd question, but this is something that I'm not looking forward to when I get pregnant?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this.

Well, I am a naturally busty female (hoorah *rolls eyes*), and I was just wondering, what was your average bust size increase when you were pregnant/nursing? And afterwards, did you go back down to your bra size or did you stay a little bigger/get smaller?

My mom is a B, I think, and she said that she went up to a D when she was pregnant.

With all that being said, I do know that every person is different, but I would like to have some kind of idea what to expect.

  1. I was an E before I was pregnant. I'm still trying to squeeze myself into E's because I'm finding it absolutely impossible to find anything bigger. I think my bra size at the moment is probably bigger than an F. I tend not to wear a bra when I'm at home.

  2. was a  A-B while pg went to a D now nursing at a DD.  Still nursing so  don't know if they will go down. Wish they would!

  3. I went from a C to solid D.  Nursing, they went upwards of a DDD but went back down to the D (but also I gained weight and would asume they'd go back to the C if I lost the weight.

  4. Haha.. I like your question! i am busty as well and have the same concern. I'm a D and am approx. 4.5 weeks and um.. *cough* already need to go buy a larger bra. Tried on a dd today and yep.. it fit.. Sorry I don't have any advice, I just know what you mean... ;)

  5. i was C when i started my first pregnancy...by the time i started nursing i was at least an DDD is there a triple D or is it F? lol  freaking huge is what it was. that lasted almost as long as i breastfeed my son.

i'm only 23 weeks this pregnancy and i started out a small C lol and am somewhere in the D range...i feel like they get bigger every day though.

everyone is different though, some women's b***s don't get THAT big and some are off the charts. lol

  6. Everybody is different.  I didn't see ANY growth during pregnancy; and the only time my bust was larger than my 34B was when I was engorged (didn't nurse or pump when I should have and got overfull).  After weaning I went between 34A and 34B, depending on brand and style.  Nobody can really tell you what will happen, because your experience will be completely unique.

  7. It depends on your body type. I am 36 weeks and my bust has gotten big, and i don't even have milk in them yet!! Well I hope that helped! Maybe 2 or 3 sizes!

  8. Of course you can expect an increase in breast size during pregnancy depending on how much wt. you gain. Yes if you Breast feed, you will increase 1-2 cups, but you should return to normal after breastfeeding stops for good, usually within a few months, it also helps you to lose the post preg wt. Make sure you wear good supportive bra's during this time, not cheap ones.

Congrats on your choice to breast feed.

  9. hehe i went from a D to a DD with both pregnanies, i'm back to a D now, so i think it goes along with weight loss.

  10. I'm not normally considered "busty" but definitely increased in bust size during pregnancy, and it continued while I was nursing, but when I stopped, I went back to my normal size and weight.
