What's a good way to whiten my toenails...they're kind of yellowish, so I haven't been painting them for awhile, but still, they're yellowish.

  2. Whiten your nails by mixing 1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide with 3 tablespoons baking soda. Apply to nails (underneath and over tops) with a cotton swab. Leave on for 3-5 minutes then rise with warm water. Apply hand lotion.

To prevent yellowing use a base coat before painting nails.

  3. carry on with what you are doing! dont paint them... unless you use a good quality base coat.

  4. Get one of those superfine nail files, that doesn't even feel like a file, and go over the whole top of your nail. That's what it's made for. Usually it's the pink one.... the nail polish is what turns your nails yellow. I usually do this filing thing in between each polish, and it makes your nail surface smoother too.

  5. You may have nail fungus - that will cause yellowing of the nails.  Go to a podiatrist to find out.

  6. Baking soda i think , i heard it in a magazine

or scholl make somthing that you put on your toe nails.
