  1. It just proves that one good knock doesnt make a champion.

  2. Cricket is a great leveler

One day you are on top of the world, the other day, no quite so...This is a mere coincidence, stranger things have happened in cricket!

  3. There is nothing "strange" at all. You will find many such strange similarities as the IPL goes on.

It is also not strange that a u-19 bowled him out. Bowler has to be skilled. What a treat that was for him.

Is what makes the T-20 so interesting.

  4. Just another one of the coincidences T20 throws up!

  5. well its not in the players hands ...................

anything can happen in the T20's..................

u can't predict who will take ur wicket and in what fashion u will get out.............

so i guess its no one's fault.....

  6. just a  co-incidence

  7. More ironic than strange, maybe if there were more things between the two that were the same (like mode of dismissal etc) then it would be very peculiar. BUT to get a 100 then to get out for a low score is NOT uncommon in cricket, especially in a T20 !!. The fact that the 2 both scored 5 in the next match is just ironic.

  8. Just goes to prove that in this form of the game, if its your day - You rule the roost!! If not, you just have to move on and let the others try their hand

Also, the shorter the duration of the game, the closer the contest.. Even a potentially weaker side can topple a biggie... Remember the Royals winning... Better still, remember Zimbabwe defeating Australia in the T20 World Cup... Can't imagine the Ausies losing to Zim in a test match!!

  9. well, that's what makes cricket ecxiting, isnt it???

  10. This shows that cricket is a game of uncertainties.

  11. Not strange

If a batsman scores so many runs in one match & just goes out in the nezt, that's not strange. They will do well in future matches.

  12. Not really strange at all (to me at least), it's just the nature of Twenty20, sometimes you're lucky enough to score a lot of runs and sometimes you fail to score anything significant.
