This is kinda funny... but is it normal?

i am still breastfeeding my 7 month old little boy and he has just started to hold my boob like a sippy cup it made me laugh so much then i thought hmmm is this normal lol! he has also started to try and get the boobie in the supermarket i was so embarrassed! do your babies do this?

also when did you decide to stop? is there a right age?

LOL .. this is perfectly normal.   when my 11 month old (who is breastfeeding) is riding in the little seat in the cart at the store, he's always trying to bury his face in my b*****s.  and he also holds my breast while he's nursing.  it's cute.  and normal!

babies should be fed breastmilk or formula until they're 12 months old.  i don't know about you, but i really don't want to mess with bottles and formula for even a week!  i plan to stop breastfeeding at about 13 months.

also, there is no "right age" for every child/mom.  my babies seem to kind of lose interest at about 1 year old.  i have a friend, however, that breastfed her youngest until he was 4 years old!  (she called it her kid's daily vitamin)  it's up to you and your baby when you stop.
