Please can someone out there in canada land, tell me what a janitor,or janitorette is worth per hour, is $8.50 a crappy wage or is that really all we are worth, I personly don,t think so

I think it is on the low end of the scale.

If you were working for the Department of Education cleaning the schools you would make 13ish an hour.

But if you were working for a cleaning company that cleans building that is the going rate.

Not fair at all as each is the same work!

I'm not from Canada, but I did find a minimum wage chart that might be of use.  From what I see on the chart, that is close to the minimum wage for most of the country.
