This is my first question ever and i was wondering, does historical reenactments classify as performing arts?

I was wondering if any of you have been to any good historical reenactments?

I would say yes.

I have been to the reenactment of the start of Louis and Clark expedition.  I have seen in 4 times over the years. It is in St Charles, MO

I don't think that history is a performing art. If there is a stage performance or a specific event that is made into a movie or a reenactment then that's different because that is a performance, this is just my opinion, others may think differently.
