  1. I have found after years of taking birth control that the easiest way to take the pack is to start the pack the day you start your period. The whole start on sunday stuff was too confusing. So, start the new package the day you start your period and put the sticker on it for that day. Take all the pills till you get to the placebos and you can continue to take them if you want to keep in the habit or just throw the pack away and wait till you start again to start a new pack. Don't try and make them last more than the 3 weeks they usually do. Take your pill every day and don't be surprised if things are out of wack for a while. Your period might be really light for a few months then come really heavy, or you might have sore or tender b*****s, or even feel nauseous. I call it all the symptoms of being pregnant without the baby. But they usually resolve on their own after the first few months. Read over the directions closely and if you have any other questions ask your OBGYN or your prescribing doctor. Good luck hon!

  2. You are supposed to wait until after your period is over and start taking them!
