Hawaiian Time Zone applies to the Hawaiian Islands and the Central Pacific region UTC + 10 hours.

The Pacific Time Zone applies to the West Coast of the US UTC + 7 hours

They are two different time zones. They have different times. If it is 3 p.m. in the Pacific Time Zone then it is 1 p.m. in the Hawaiin Time Zone.

Pacific Time Zone = -8

Hawaiin Time Zone = -10

Try Google or your phone book. A time zone is 15 degrees wide, if that helps.

Hawaii is in time zone UTC-10.  They don't use daylight time.  Pacific standard time is UTC-8, and Pacific daylight time is UTC-7.

10 - 8 is 2 hours.

10 - 7 is 3 hours.
