I believe you are being myopic and naive in your judgement on legal immigration.

Many of the people who have helped create economic growth and domestic high paying jobs were immigrants on visas. Don't believe me then review the list of companies in Silicon Valley and their founders.

The Visa's in question being requested by India, are for the most talented, and most needed professions that our own Nation requires, such as Engineers and Physicians.

This is a win-win situation. Saying No would not only send a bad message to the rest of the World but would also hurt us economically. We are at a critical point economically and we need all the talent we can muster to redirect our markets and industries to once again regain dominence in Industry, and Economics.  Our Nation was, is, and hopefully will forever be built largely on the talents of Immigrants and their Children.
