This is not todeny 'cause and effect' but surely as cause is an affect of effect - then cause is also effect.?

Cause is also an effect (of blind brain activity) because cause is a psychophysical sensation thought of that which has been, and because time doesn't exist there is no 'going back' to 'cause'. (It's called 'blind brain activity because brain doesn't know it's the affect of brain activity that effect psychophysical sensation thought.)

Time does exist .. it may be beyond our control (since it USUALLY* progresses at one second per second :-) )

*Relatively, that is :-) - we can adjust time for individual particles .. as we speed them up towards the speed of light, they experience Time Dilation ..

In the physical world, we CAN 'back track' to find the 'cause' of most** physical effects ..

**when you reach the Quantum level, there will be some doubt about the exact original cause .. chance comes into it ..
