This is on my credit report?

Something I paid. It is still listed there though. It says "paid, closed/collection account." Does it get held against my credit score for just being on the report? Thank you.

Yes it will stay there for 7 yrs. What you should have done was negotiate with the collection agency to have it removed from your report in exchange for payment.

A paid collection is just as bad as an unpaid one, as far as your FICO score is concerned.

It is still held against you.
