I have an account on this one site and when I logged in I got that "would you like firefox to save this password" thing, and I accidentally hit yes. But I share my computer, and now anytime I go to that site it has my screen name and password typed in the login already. So I just want to know how do I get it to unsave and stop putting my password and screen name there? Sorry if this is a really dumb question I'm only 14 and kinda stupid when it comes to computers.

  1. Its not a dumb question and anyway, this might be a dumb answer. I think all you need to do is change the password thats logged in (by deleting it or highlighting and typing over it) and when it asks if you want firefox to remember it say no. Pretty sure I'm right but try it and see! Just dont forget the new password!

  2. To unsave the password in firefox, follow these few steps

    For firefox 3

    1) Go to Tools in the firefox

    2) Then click on option

    3) New window will open

    4)Click on security

5)Unheck " Remeber passwords for site"

    6)Click O.K.

  3. 1. Go to Tools > Options.

    2. Go to the "Security" tab.

    3. Under "Save passwords" click "Show passwords".

Now click the password you want to remove and select "Remove". Now you're done.

  4. Go to Tools > Options > Security > Saved Passwords then look for the sites you want to remove your passwords from.

  5. Do: Tools / Option / Privacy

There is a check box that makes that

  6. In firefox 3:   Tools - options - security

    Click the button 'saved passwords'

There you can remove the passes you want to.

  7. With firefox open, press Ctrl+Shift+Del. It will bring up a Windows that has several checkboxes on it. Make sure "Saved Passwords" is checked, and click "Clear Private Data Now." Be sure to uncheck any boxes that you don't want removed.
