This is probably a stupid question - but are plug sockets in Ireland the same as in the UK?

                      What a cute name, the answer is Yes, the plug sockets in Ireland are the same as in the UK, and you can even plug multi-adapters into the mains too, you know what I mean by an adapter, so you can plug 2 or even 3 electical items into the one power outlet, but as in the UK be careful not to overload the socket, and you will be safe to use your hairdrier or your radio or DVD player, enjoy your hoilday in my Country and just have lots of fun....Bye...Tony M...

  8. Not at all a stupid question. Irish plugs are, indeed, the same as in UK. So is the voltage -- 220V.
