  1. YUCK. people make me sick. I get put off really easily. If that had happened to me I dont think I would have contained the vomit projecting from my stomach.

Erghhhh send shivers down my spine.

  2. As you know a finger print can only come from a finger so she must of put her finger in it , i dont think you will find out weather it was meant or not

  3. maybe it developed a skin on top and then she touched it so the fingerprint stayed there as its thicker than normal tea

  4. Give me a chance!

    I'm thinking about some possibilities.

    Patients.

    Ok,

It had to be something on his/her finger.

    More info?

did you try to remove it?

was it a piece of scotch tape maybe?

If it was floating on the surface it had to be something you could grab and pull out.

If not you saw a reflection from the cup/glass.

    More info.

I doubt it was oil because hot water dissolves oil.

It had to be something solid but transparent.

Sorry, It had to be either a reflection or something that you could have grabbed. I can't see any other possibility and I've been pondering this question for 10 minutes.

I've seen crazier things but I'm sure that if it was floating in the ,well, for instance, if you had something with it, like a pastry that was wrapped in cling film and he/ her opened it and a piece got caught on their thumb( happens now and then with that stuff) then they made you tea or coffee and it fell in somehow. it would look like a floating fingerprint.

That's all I can think it could be.

That or a joke of some kind.

Are they the kind that pull pranks now and then?

LOL, now I know how Sherlock Holmes felt.

" The Case of the Floating Fingerprint".

anyway, who's the girl that gets nasty with the guys?

Can you tell her about me?

maybe she can come and make me some tea?

    ( is she cute)?

Why would you have her make your tea anyway if you know that?

    sum ting wong here.

  5. that may not be a print...    sometimes the particles from the teabag and the tea itself if it's powdered or finely ground will cluster after steeping..   it looks 'scummy'  when it's on the surface.. this is normal.

  6. My theory is that there was a fingerprint on the inside of the cup and the hot water melted it off the cup and since oil floats, it floated to the top.
