  1. Those are crafts. Nobody is buying crafts.

You're going to have to do the babysitting, dog walking, et cetera if you want to make money.

You are 13. $5.00 here and there is all you're ALLOWED to have.

  2. If you are a good knitter and do good work, try selling the finished items on etsy or ebay.  Remember that purses and i-pod socks are very popular right now, as knitted accessories - they also work up quicker and use less materials.

Hand made toys are also very popular right now - especially since the trouble with lead in many manufactured toys - special and handmade toys evoke a sense of "better days" and comfort as well.

As for working a "real job" -you're not legally old enough yet to work, even with your parents permission.

Try selling some of your work at the local farmers market. -- you will have to fill out a form to get a table, and there is usually a small fee to rent your space.  Then set up your stuff and be personable.

Usually JoAnns and Michaels have people who are employees make their samples for them.

Maybe you should try to find a local yarn shop, and see if you can work something out with the owner.  You are more likely to get a break with a local store than with the chain stores (The chain stores won't hire you - again, due to your age.) Even if the local yarn shop offers you materials in exchange for samples, it would give you a chance to earn yarn you might not otherwise be able to afford, and turn around and sell things made with it at a better profit.

  3. what my daughter does is she referees local soccer games. she got paid $10-15 a game for waving a flag. she made about  $150 last summer.

  4. I know the lady who makes the flower decorations/arrangements at Olde Time Pottery. She loves her job.

Make jewelry, a friend of mine sells to a local upscale fancy decorating store that also sells clothes and jewelry.

Michaels hires instructors, and people who make bows and do the custom framing.

Check out local craft fairs, see what they sell, and who is successful. Churches, and other charities do craft fairs before Xmas, some of that is junky, some is really cute. My friend bought jewelry at the craft fair, there was about a $7 markup on it, over the price of the beads and findings.

there was a blanket booth at the fair, you could make pillows to match and sell them.

  5. got my profile then click the link. It's pretty much a website where you do surveys and get points. With the points you can get any prize you want from amazon (games, game systems, ipods, jewelry, etc or eBay, including gift cards! It doesn't matter how young you are! NO CREDIT CARDS REQUIRED!
