does anyone else hate when someone gets on a western saddle and they ride like their riding english it really bothers me it i ridin western all my life i cant stand it seriouslly does it bother anyone

well i don't ride western but i could see how it would bother you it bugs me when on an english saddle people try to rid western >:(

I don't ride Western, I ride English. And I think you mean "posting" while "trotting" a horse....you do when you ride English.

And if someone is doing that in a Western saddle, then they obviously aren't very experienced in Western riding. That shouldn't bother you; you should respect them. When someone who isn't as experienced as you isn't doing something the correct way, try not to let it bother you. For all you know they could be learning.

Also, maybe they don't own an English saddle at the moment and have to use a Western one.

You just never know what the situation may be.

i do it all the time.

meaning I post, and I do what you mentioned above.

but its only because I show horses for potential buyers, and they want to ride in a western saddle, and I am NOT tacking up both ways, so I make do in a western saddle for ten minutes.

Haha sorry to tell you but not all horses neck rein. But, I guess if I rode Western a lot then it would bother me too. My horse doesn't neck rein... at all. So, some horses are just easier to ride english. ;-)
