The former Sampdoria centre forward has gone on to remark on his recent goal scoring exploits and conceded that he has improved as a footballer in the past year or so.
Juventus have been looking for goals from their strikers all of this season, and it has been interesting to note that none of them have been able to provide the goals on a consistent basis over the course of this campaign. They have had to rely on the brilliance
of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Claudio-Marchisio-c9312 to chip in with the goals.
Having strikers of the qualities of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicklas-Bendtner-c27726; it is a clear sign that they are missing a world beater within their striking ranks. In total there are five strikers in the team; but only one
has stood out for the Bianconeri during the course of this season and that has been the Italian international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-Quagliarella-c13194.
The striker scored a hat-trick in their 6-1 win over Pescara and that has made him a prime candidate for starting matches for the Bianconeri giants. The 29-year-old striker has gone on to state that he is much more composed now then he was in the seasons
prior to this one and also remarked that he might be surprising others, but he was not surprised by the goal return.
He contemplated that this might be the best he has felt throughout his career as a football player. He went on to comment:
“I am not surprised to be scoring so much. I have realised that I’m calmer and cooler in front of goal now. A few years ago I was frantic in search of goals, but I’ve matured more. Perhaps this is the best moment of my career.”
The striker was talking to Tuttosport and during his interview he went on to comment on the injuries he sustained earlier and his comeback, by remarking:
“I feel stronger than I did before the injury. It will be coming up to two years in January and I’ve really grown since then.”
The Italian international ruptured knee ligaments during the start of 2010 season, and has been used sparingly by Antonio Conte.
