  1. There right, they don't show his hooves, go look at this horse first, ride it, pick up its feet, and everything. Anyways, cute in the face, but for what there asking, and how old he is, he may be a good horse. I dunno though, go look at em.

  2. go LOOK at the horse. . . yeah nice cute face... but where is the rest of the horse?are they that embarressed about how their horse looks that they didnt show a whole body shot ? (i dont know if there were any other pictures) but since you are leasing this horse and not buying, why not go look and see how it is. couldnt hurt by leasing it for a month or two, at least you'd learn about horse care with the horse.

edit: i now see the other pictures. you  are right there are more, but NONE are conformation, but like i said, since you are leasing and not buying, why not lease the hores to learn? i'm not saying dont lease the horse, i'm saying that there are no conformation photos, and i know i'm beating a dead horse, but conformation is what makes the horse work and work well.   go lease the horse **after** you look at it and you'll at least learn about taking care of a horse if nothing else. you might even learn why conformation is something that needs to be looked at.

    good luck.

  3. depends on your riding and horse ability.  Check him out first and see how he is.  Ride him, pick up his feet, see how he is.  I have two that are 24 years old. and one has tissue degeration and can't be ridden.  He also may need supplements and senior feed.

  4. He looks like a sweetie. I think he'd be a nice candidate to shareboard. You can't go wrong with an older horse, especially if your still learning the ropes on horseback riding.

    EDIT: ***

Shadow makes a good point though, what if he has leg problems? They don't seem to show his lower half. Be careful, they could be hiding something.

  5. i'd be careful if i were you.

he has a farily pronounced swayback, and they don't show pictures of his legs or feet. if you go see him make sure he is sound and not AT ALL stiff or uncomfortable when being ridden. it would also be good if you got to watch him move because unsoundness can be easier to see than feel.

i'm not trying to be mean he is an adorable horse with a sweet face and he might be perfect for you. just with a horse that's older and has a topline like that i would be cautious.

i hope it works out! good luck!

  6. Hes cute. Love his blue eye. My advice would be is to go and try him out. I leased an older horse and it was fine. He was 23.

  7. Make sure you check him out completely because you could have to deal with major vet bills soon.  His back is also very sucken in from being ridden.  Looks like he should just be a pasture horse and retire.
