Steve Francis is a great point gaurd offensively and West is good defensively. There isn't much of a difference.

no because the rockets have too many guards. they need someone who can help yao inside and defensively not guards that their not gonna use because mcgrady and alston take up the guard spots. mcgrady should just play sf again and alston should come off the bench

Nah, if the Rockets stay healthy and focuse they can win. T-Mac better get his act straight cause one more early goodbye and Rockets fans are gonna riot. A player like Delonte West would be valuable but he's not an impact player.

What the Rockets really need is for Tmac and Yao to have a healthy season.

nah they need be healthy...they got donte greene nd dorsey who both might make an impact for this team.  As long as they can rebound, play defense and shoot free throws they gona be good for htown.  Picking up Brent Barry was very good, I think rockets will let go of Landry, which is stupid because I think he would be better than dorsey or greene in 09.  Extending Novak was good, Mutombo's playing days are up in the air.  The Rockets really need to consider packaging up Jackson, Head, Hayes, Harris, Brooks, Francis, maybe even Leunen for a decent bench center and point guard.  I dont know, rockets might be involved in a multi-team trade talks by now.  I don't think McGrady is involved though, to clear up any thoughts.  But last but  not least, I personally think Yao Ming is s******g up this team the most, look at how many games he appeared over the past 3 years and that will give you an answer.  He needs to be traded to another team, but the problem is that the only other good center is dwight howard, there is nothing the rockets have to work any deal with that man.  Tmac is the leader of this team, Yao Ming is just a poser who makes over 5 times the amount he earns in endorsements and plays 50 games a year.  He is a good basketball player, not a good NBA player.  He is showing up on posters getting dunked on or blocked, and STILL makes the big $$$.  Everybody was right, he is another Shawn Bradley.  If Houston was gonna get out of 1st round, Yao gotta b healthy and stop playin like a pu$$y.
