  1. Go to this site, and type in your name. It costs, however, about $19.95 for unlimited searches for 60-90 days, or $24.95 for a year. .http://www.foundmoney.com/moneybank/?asi...

Search in the box above for:

    Your mother's maiden family name

    Names of sisters and brothers

Commonly used misspellings of your last name

Family names of grandparents and friends

    Associates and school mates...

If you see that a friend of yours may have cash waiting to be collected, make sure to let them know.

"It's estimated that 9 out of 10 people in North America have unclaimed money."

    • Thousands more recovered their lost money with FoundMoney.com  (I looked my name up, and despite the number of people in the US with the same name as me, there were over 100 listings from $16.79 to "undisclosed amounts.")

  2. What's troubling about it? I would think that is a nice thing. Ask your mother who the executor of the estate was and where they put the money for you? The court would have made the executor put it in either a trust or UTMA account, so the executor has to inform you of how the money was invested and when you're eligible to take control of it.

  3. check your grandma's will

  4. If the will has been probated. I mean that it has been filed at your local court house you can go there and ask to see it. It is public information. If she didn't leave a will then you are stuck

because the next of kin gets everything.
