first you can say

konichiwa or kumbawa

(hello)

yurushiku gozaimasu

(literally mean 'please take care of me' or 'let's work together')

but you can use it when you first meet after saying konichiwa or kumbawa... and then you introduce yourself...

watashiwa (your name) desu...

(i am so and so)

and if you like...

ogenki desu ka?

(how are you)

to which they will answer genki or hege (but hege is more informal)
