See, we have this mini van. A 1999 Silouette. It has a VHS system (broke) a CD system (never tried) a nice radio, and A/C. My husband thinks that thieves would not be interested in 'that stuff' anymore because of the blackberry's and cell phones and all the other 'technology' that is on the market.

I disagree and think we should lock it up if we go somewhere.

What do you think?

  1. A thief isn't going to inventory the van before he steals it.  He's going to see electronics and act.  It doesn't make much difference to him if it's working or not since he gets it free.  Always lock the doors, where ever it's at.

  2. well, you should always lock your car because some psycho might climb into your back seat with an axe, and that would be bad....soooooo lock your doors. (idk, maybe someone DOES want a broken VHS system and CD system and nice radio/ a/c)

  3. I would leave it unlocked because if they steal it then they really must need it and believe me...you NEED an update....Everything in that car is Standard or worse

  4. Your husband is an idiot. You should always lock your car, even if it is parked in your own garage. Any person you get into your car and hold you and your whole family hostage. And ALWAYS look in your back seats before you get into your car, even if your doors are still locked!

  5. lock it up.  better safe than sorry.

  6. if you don't lock up your whole van could be stolen..
