This is what i have eaten today...is it ok for losing weight?

11.30am-A go ahead orange and sultana slice(1.2g fat, 58cals)

5.30pm-Uncle bens sweet and sour, made with prawns and extra veg

7pm- a handful of cherries, another go ahead bar(same as before, 1.2g fat, 58cals).

lots of coffee and tea.

  1. from 11.30am till 5.30pm with nothing to eat is a long time.  You need to keep your blood sugar stable so that our metabolism doesnt slow down.

    Eat more breakfast such as cereal or toast

    Eat during the afternoon - it doesnt have to be loads

    Something in the evening and include fruit and veg.

    Try this and you will feel healthy and should maintain a normal weight.

    Excersise to burn fat not starve


  2. No,sooner or later you will give up and binge.Also your body will slow down and it will get rid of muscle,it will store more fat after a while as well.

  3. Try to drink less coffee and tea as this will bloat you and won't help you to loose weight. Drink more water aswell :). You should try eating more fruit and vegatables and have three meals a day. Also deff eat a proper breakfast like cereal with low sugar e.g muesli and have it with skimmed milk. and don't starve yourself :)

  4. That is a mssive gap between your first two foods, that will slow down your motabolism, you should be eating more i have to say, and tea and coffee is never good for you, all that being said you will probably loose weight on that but it is not healthy and you will get bored soon.

  5. You'll lose weight but it's probably not particularly sustainable as when you start to eat normally your body will think 'omg food' and store it all causing you to just put the weight back on.

    You want to aim to eat between 1000 and 1500 calories a day to lose weight and eat 3-4 healthy well balanced meals a day snacking on fruit, veg and seeds. Eat little and often and make sure you drink plenty of water as it helps you to lose weight.

  6. coffe and tea are diuretic...you shoud limit to merely 2 or 3 glasses of green tea a day and drink only water at other times...eat 5 small meals a day and brisk walk for an hour...dont ignore exercise...

  9. doesnt sound like enough cals which can slow metabolism and weight loss. i've been crazy about this website i tell everyone i know thats trying to lose weight about it.. so go here: sparkpeople.com its completely free i joined not too long ago and am already losing weight you can keep track of your calorie intake and see how many cals u need to burn to meet your goal weight and a ton of other stuff.. good luck!


  10. 11.30am....might depend on your work pattern , but thats quite a late breakfast

    really need to get into having breakfast lunch and dinner

    cereal bars arent really filling

    sauces in jars are high in salt - sweet n sour is high in sugar

    need more complex carbs, which are high in fibre

    coffee needs to go

  11. Cut out the lots of coffee, and add lots of water.  If your drinking tea make sure it has no sugar in it.  Your not eating enough.  You should be eating a lot of fruits and veggies.  Also add lean meats such as chicken and turkey for protein.

  12. if you eat little and often your body will not need to retain energy in the form of fat,you are simply eating not enough to maintain a healthy body.

    As well as eating well it is important to exercise a little more, this does not mean running a marathon every week but perhapss doing more in the house and garden will give you an easy start into good exercise.Swimming is also a good exercise, try to go once a week for an hour or so.
