This is what im going to say to my boss tomorrow?

im 4 months pregnant and i was wondering if its possible i could have a chair by me instead of standing for so many hours straight bc my back starts hurting and i dont want to put a risk on my baby.

and if she says no im quitting

and if she says yes great

any suggestions ? does that sound good? anything to add or no, im a cashier and i work from 9-3 tomorrow and stand in one spot the entire time.

thats smart. Dont break your d**n back for a boss that wont allow you a chair!! Good luck girl depending on where you work you'll probably get the chair!! Good luck on your pregnancy!!

no harm in asking for a chair as my back kills me standing they should be more than happy for you to sit a while when needed.

If she says no don't quit then you cant collect unemployment in most states. Just go to your doctor and have him write you a doctors excuse to sit during your shift. Let her fire you if she doesn't like it.

It would be great if you could get a statement from your doctor stating that you need to be seated and not on your feet for more than X hours out of the day. Your child's health has to be a priority.
