This isn't really a question, but...?

My friends 7 year old son got diagnosed with diabetes on Tuesday... and he got diagnosed with ADHD last year... but he is a normal little kid and I feel horrible for him... Im going to there house today to see them, do you think I should get him something like a little stuffed animal or one of those Webkins toys that little kids like?? Or if you have any others suggestions on what we could give him just write them...

I back up that webkinz idea. My cousins all have them, both boys and girls, and they lovee them. You can apparantly take care of them on the internet and you have a stuffed animal in real life! What could be better?

Perhaps some things that the store carries in sugar-free that taste great.  I was diagnosed with diabetes around that age, and it's hard.  

Some diet sodas (perhaps flavored ones), some koolaid like drinks, some sugar free jello, and some sugar free candies.  Get the calorie free ones instead of the "sugar free" that have different types of sugars, but sometimes have more calories in them than a regular candy bar.  

Also, a 7 year old boy is going to enjoy something like a hot wheels, or a ball better than a stuffed animal.  He has a disease that truly needs exercise and activity rather than quietness.  Give him my e-mail if he has diabetes questions.  It's hard on a kid, and he might want someone who'll be honest, and informative, without all the clinical talk.

I have a 7 year old.  He likes Transformers, Ben 10, Pokemon, Webkins, "I Can Read" books, finger paints, markers (any of those cool ones, like the 'secret message' kind).

I think a Webkinz is a good idea; my 6 year old brother has ADHD and a Webkinz keeps him pretty occupied.

Candy is def. a BAD idea; when my little brother has it he goes NUTS! And he doesn't even have diabetes.

Board games and card games are good.
