  1. if he threw 90 at age 11, then yea id say he has a good shot of making it.

4 percent of little leaguers play high school ball

1 percent of high school players play some sort of college baseball

1 percent of college ball players make it to the minors or play pro in another country

.1 percent of minor leaguers make it to the pros.

so the odds arent looking too great

  2. haha...everykid thinks they are good untill they meet the best.....He has a chance if he doesnt s***w it up and works towards it.

  3. One will never know

  4. dude. he's 11 he has to past the 6th grade first...

but if you are serious, just tell him to practice and play hard and maybe he'll get there ^^

  5. no because i did that and even if im am going to rutgers for baseball im not a pitcher im a rf

  6. At age eleven, almost anyone has a chance.

  7. The kid is 11 years old i would hate to tell you this but the majors are about 15 years away from him.. alot can happen in 15 years

  8. Um Not Really. Well it depends on his defense and how he hits or when  hes a senior in high school it depends if scouts like what they see.

  9. Only if he has a wicked breaking ball or pin-point control.

Edit: I don't recommend an 11 year-old throw hard sliders or curveballs yet, their arms aren't fully grown yet. You have been warned.Try throwing like a football and snapping your wrist hard.

  10. yeah, of course he does, but he is really going to have to work for it....tell him that he has to throw at least 500 pitches a day as hard as he can until he turns 18....then see where he goes from there

  11. Add him to the list; it is a mile long on Y!A these days, fifteen of them per day.

  12. no, he wont be able to develop pitches till probably hes 14 to prevent wrist damage and its a fat chance

  13. 9 year olds throw 60's here.

  14. No I'm 13 and throw 60's and I'm not even a pitcher.
