In third world nations its perfectly OK to throw trash out of the windows, scumbags that live there don't know any better and their country is a craphole so it doesn't really matter.  In civilized nations its not acceptable and the residents frown on low class third world dirtbags that do so.

Well, all i can say, is that different countries have different rules and regulations.

Although, i think that in the majority of them, littering is illegal and comes with a hefty fine.

Perhaps the lady that yelled at you should have calmly explained this to you rather then resulting to yelling.
