All depends on the age, both yours and his. Some kids do need a slap when they are being cheeky, and the parents aren't always willing (i am a parent myself). But if it were my child, I'd have been happier for you to tell me so I can discipline myself. I don't what my child talking to strangers but I don't want her scared to walk down the street either.

Did you slap him in the mouth or face? Don't ever hit a child in any part of his or her head. It's a dangerous thing to do. That's what behinds are for, to slap, not beat either. I wouldn't keep hitting this kid like that.

Well to be honest with you people these days think this is bad.

The reason why children don't grow up properly is because the parents don't discipline them.

But only slap the children every once and a while and not too hard.

i think you did the right thing tbh,there are 2 many do gooders preventing you from keeping your children in check,and too many people scratching there heads wondering whats happened to the youth today.

wow my first question is -was this little kid yours,,

and i think the best way to deal with this was to punish him if he is your son and if he wasnt,you should of told his parents.slapping a kid do not solve anything..
