This may be wierd but i need to know..why do you eat in restaurants?

what drives you to eat in a restaurant? how do you choose the place? please answer. thank you.

It's a good way to spend time with my fiance having a (hopefully) good meal without having to cook and clean up.

I choose based on what type of food I like and then the service.  It's not like I never go back if the service was bad but if the service is always good or for the most part good I definitely go back and it's going to be top on the list whenever we go out.  Also if the food is never good I am probably not going to go back.

good food + good service + no cooking + no clean up= happy customer

Also if am taking my children I prefer a louder place where it won't be noticed much if they get rowdy- personally for the kids I like texas roadhouse or Chuck E cheese or some other kid friendly place because no one will notice if they are loud and it doesn't matter if they throw their food or spill something because the floor is trashed anyway.  

but without the children I prefer something a little different.

no cleanup and having someone serve you also trying some food that i would not cook and to spend time with that special person or people.

I agree with Julia. No cooking, cleaning, or figuring out what to cook. We pick where we go depending on what were in the mood for. Its usually Italian or a nice steak!!

I choose the place according to the type of food we want to eat. We always go out to eat on birthdays, mothers day and Fathers day, and other celebrations.

When we go to the mall we usually eat in a restaurant. The best things in a restaurant is of course the food. My grandma knows a lot of dishes but it's nice to get an occasional break from the normal day-to-day food. Also it's also like a little luxury for yourself. Like after exams or a stressful, pimple-inducing project season. Also we eat on different restaurants to get variety and we only go to a restaurant more than once if the food is great. It's like going on a hunt for the best restaurant kind of thing. And let's face it some people eat in a restaurant just to be SEEN.
