  1. No.

  2. Some people believe the gods were humans that became gods due to the stories and legends that grew around them.  Your zodiac sign has nothing to do with this because every zodiac sign would appear in your natal chart.  So, if you believe the gods were originally human it is possible to be biologically descended from them, in which case you should be tracing your geneology.  If you believe the gods created us then we would be spiritually descended from them with each of us carrying a bit of that divinity within us.  Looking at it that way kind of casts doubt on Jesus's divinity as the "son of god" since technically we all would be the "children of god" using christianity as an example.

  3. The ancient so-called Gods and Goddesses were actually a rogue group of angels set by God to observe and help the human race in pre-Deluge times. They became enamoured of the physical world and learned how to manifest in fleshly bodies, taking human wives and siring superhuman half-breeds later called the Nephilim. They allowed cults of worship to develop around them and set themselves up as Gods, instructing mankind in mathematics, engineering, weapon production, metallurgy, armoring, etc. They also invented the "mystery" religions as well as the false "science" of Astrology, and taught Man how to communicate and tap into the unseen spirit world using Divination such as tarot, scrying, palmistry, etc. This was the origin of all world mythologies and the true source of the knowledge that allowed the creation of the Seven Wonders of the World. Several of these "Gods" took groups of humans to far-flung regions, but after God banished the rogue angels to a magma cave far below the earth (source of the common misconception of h**l) their splinter groups died out after leaving behind enigmas such as Stonehenge, the faces on Easter Island, the carved undersea roadway, etc. Their offspring, the Nephilim, still residing in the Tigris/Euphrates region, continued to propagate these false religions, and also continued to pollute the pure human DNA pool with their half-breed seed. God stepped in and destroyed all the polluted humans and Nephilim with the Flood, which was a regional disaster, not global. This is what was meant by Noah being "perfect in his generations" - he was a pure-blood human. However, at least one Nephilim survived, perhaps clinging to the exterior of the Ark, and afterwards founded the race of Canaanite giants, once again spreading the worship of false gods such as Baal and Dagon. These giants were utterly wiped out by Joshua and the Hebrews, save one: Goliath, who had joined a small tribe called the Philistines and turned them into a savage band of warriors. Goliath was summarily slain by David, and in every instance of the Hebrews encountering polluted bloodlines Gods' command was clear: wipe them out utterly from children to the elderly in order to prevent further contamination of the human DNA strain. All progeny of the old "Gods" is gone from the earth, and like it or not the only humans left are pure breeds, with various genetic mutations and permutations such as different levels of skin pigmentation, hair color, eye color, etc.

  4. Well in the Eddas (specifically the Lay of Rig) one of the gods Heimdal visits the world and sets in place the social order by fathering 3 children in 3 different families and all Germanic people thereafter decend from one of those 3 children.

    One was a slave,

    One a freeman

    and one a warrior.

Many Anglo-saxon kings prior to the convertion of Britain claimed decendance from Woden or Weland (iirc the Queen of England today still claims decendance from Weland) and most if not all the kings named in the Icelandic sagas have Woden in their cited lineage (usually written in Norse of course which would be Othinn/Odin).

So for those of us who are members of the various Germanic paths we are the decendants of the gods and they in turn our our ancestors and Elder kin.

  5. if the myths are true then yes.The Gods did come down and have s*x with mortal men and women(Mostly the Greek, Horus and Anubis are Egyptian and those gods generally stuck to their own kind) and sometimes the women got pregnant.Hercules anyone? So if the demigods had children and they had children and so on and so forth, people could be descended form gods.

  6. Yes, it is vary possible but the zodiac has nothing to do with it. There is a catch though, they were not gods. They did interbreed with humans though. The children were called demigods in Greek mythology, but they are really called nephilim. Look in the Christian bible, you can find more on them in there.

  7. i could be possible.

  8. Those ancient gods never really existed they were just a pile of rocks that were given names... But none of they real........ So no it not possible to be their descendant's.. Since there were made of thing that are found in the earth and so were we but we were given life and movement and thought and a voice to communicate with.. No it is just not possible..............

  9. It depends on your beliefs. If you believe a god created you, then yes. If you do not, you're not.

It is possible, but more likely our ancestors would have been named gods.

If we did descend from gods whose temples we only see appear around 2000 BC, let's say, we need to find a new excuse for the skeletons of ancient humans. Maybe they were shaped into the humans we are today? Maybe we shaped ourselves? Maybe it's the same thing?

  10. Technically, you could if they were real...but since they are made up, probably not. However, if you count the countless humans that considered themselves God, then yes, you could... Why? Do you think you look like Jesus or something?

  11. The Egyptian deities werent in the habit of cross breeding with humans but there were several aristocratic clans and royal families in Ancient Greece who claimed they were descended from Zeus, Poseidon, or Hercules or Apollo.

As for whether they actually were?

There's no magical or physical way of telling nowadays and your Zodiac sign would certianly be no clue.

  12. I don't think anybody truly knows that answer, and I bet it'd be pretty hard to believe anybody who randomly claims they know

    but maybe!

you could try reading about the sumerians and the anunnaki, it talks a lot about people perhaps descending from gods

  13. Most Royal house claim descent from the gods, so why not?

  14. Some pantheons include Deified human beings (apotheosis) so yes it is possible, but the simplest thing is to acknowledge the indwelling Divinity of yourself and others "Thou art God"

  15. In Astrology and Wicca, you can find out your own sign and what equates too it, like your God or Goddess that rules that planet...so in a way you'd know who you were connected to..
