This may sound gross, but why is pee always yellow?

why is pee always yellow? why doesn't it change colors? you would think that if all you drank was grape juice all day, your pee would be purple? idk. i don't get it. does anyone know? thanks!

its only yellow if you have alot of toxins in your body. all that yellow tint shows how much toxins you had that you are now getting rid of...when its clearer or a lighter yellow tint, it means you have fewer to no toxins.

The color of pee is caused by bile, a chemical the liver produces to break up fat. When our bodies break down bile, the pigment urochrome turns pee yellow. The lighter the color, the more liquid has watered it down.(toxins)

Actually, if your pee is yellow you are not healthy. Your pee should be clear. If it's yellow then you aren't drinking enough water.

It doesn't change color based on what you drink because your body absorbs most of what you take in and it's processed quite a few times before it comes out so, by then, it's in its "purest" state with just everything your body couldn't take in being expelled. When it's yellow it means you've been ingesting certain chemicals or toxins. If it's any other color (yes, it does change, if you're seriously ill) then you should see a doctor ASAP.
