Okay LOL my son is 4 months old, and I give him tummy time and all that, and he'll play happily and look like he's swimming lol it is the cutest thing, But what gets me is when i go to take a quick shower and come back out...he is completely turned in his crib! And there are nights when i wake up and his head is where his feet were, like he is completely turned around!! I never get to see this LOL-so does this mean he will crawl soon, or is this just how it goes?...when did your baby start crawling? DId they ever switch positions on you? LOL

I've even jokingly said Im going to have to videocamera him when i sleep to see how he does it :)

  1. My daughter has been doing this since she was three months old. It has never been unusual for us to find her 180 degrees from the position she was put down in. And, now that she's rolling over, she's usually going the opposite direction AND on her belly. She's 5-1/2 months now, and has yet to crawl, but I've noticed she's trying to get on her hands and knees, and she can scoot around on her belly pretty good. When I put her on her play mat, I usually find her off it somewhere else. Good luck!

  2. Babies start spinning at a pretty early age. He may not try to crawl for a couple more months, he just likes to spin.

  3. my son does the same thing (he's almost 5 months) and when i put him on his tummy now he grabs the floor and tries to scoot with his toes! i was suprised the first morning i went to get him and he had turned himself 180 degrees...i asked my husband if he had put him to bed laying the opposite way! now i never know how i'm going to find him in the morning!!!

  4. Oh, that's cute!  He isn't really "crawling" but his arms and legs do move, so he is able to move himself qhite a bit. YOu probably won't actually see him doing this because it isn't a very efficient way to move, but when you leave him alone you do see the change in his position.  Just enjoy!!

  5. Young babies have a tendency to move around and wiggle throughout the night. The appropriate reason is because they are young and don't really put their body to good use like exercise. At night they just stretch out and soon before you know it they are all the way on the other side of the bed. I had this problem with my daughter she used to sleep with her leg up. It was the cutest thing in the world but it is nothing to worry about!

    Have a lovely day!

  6. UMMM WHO IS WATCHIN HIM WHEN UR IN THE SHOWER?

  7. My daughter does the same thing, and she's 10 months old.  She can't crawl though.  She does it when shes just sitting on the floor too.  I will sit something far from her so she can't get to it, and if I walk out, a few minutes later she has managed to drag her but across the floor to get to whatever it is!
