When an apartment is classified as a 'walk up' what does that mean?

  1. I'm guessing its when the door is ground level, and you have your own private entrance, as opposed to walking in a main door and then climbing a level or walking down the hall to get to the seperate door to your apartment.


  2. No elevator - but thumbs up to the girls for having good imaginations!

  3. It is on the second (or higher) floor and it doesn't have an elevator.  You have to "walk-up" the stairs. It's a term used in older buildings that are 2 or 3 stories high, but don't have elevators.

  4. I think they meant walk in. Which is like a show case of the apartment. Everyone who comes can have an opportunity to view and inspect the apartment.
