so mad shes 10 years old and it looks as its been done bye a human r a bigger cat attack my husband has just took her to the vets as its the only time we could get her in as an emergency ...but it looks horrible its looks like a big scoop hole poor cat

Anyone who harms an animal should be strung up if you ask me. It is worse than fighting with a human because an animal cannot understand why (because no reason exists!).

I hope your kitty will be ok, and hopefully it was a nasty cat that got a bit angry. One of my cats lost an eye after a stray cat scratched it out and it was just awful, I know how you feel.

i hope she will be ok. just keep her in untill its better other wise it will get infected

It could be possible that a dog could of bit her after all she could have not reaccted quick enough seeming that she is 10 years

Awww poor thing!  I hope she's okay!!  It sounds like she got bitten by something.  Tell us how she is.

If it doesn't go out much, then she could be on some other cat's patch. It takes them a while to establish each cat's area, and if they go on the wrong part then they fight. It doesn't sound as if your cat has actually claimed the area it goes out to.

If it was a human, I'll come over and do the same to them.

EDIT:  NEVER giver her any medication no matter how small unless directly ok'd by your vet.  ESPECIALLY human stuff.  Most of them are toxic to cats - they will poison their liver and shut down the kidneys.  :)
