This morning an age restriction appeared on HeartsInTouchrubberstamps a discussion group for rubber stampers. There is no inappropriate content and no reason for the restriction. How do we get it removed?

  1. Yahoo might have changed it to an Adult group for some reason.  If you are the group owner, you can use this Yahoo Groups Help form: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

    Do not complete item #6.

In #8, use the drop down arrow and select Other. Type in "My group should not have been changed to Adult Category" or something like that.

In #9, be consistent when asking Yahoo to change it back to the original category. Keep it simple and straight to the point with facts on why it should not be categorized as adult. Explain exactly what your group's content is. When all information is completed, make sure to click "Send" at the very bottom of page.

If you don't get a reply from a real live person, just keep replying to the email they send you until you get someone's attention. (It's important to reply to same emails since their replys are coded with reference numbers for staff reference.)

  2. your group was reset to adult. happens for 2 reasons. 1) a complaint and 2) a filter bot

yahoo will reset it. be sure there is no adult content hiding anyway, send in below form. Yahoo will take a gander and will reset it for you within 24 hrs (resending the form will cause a delay) yahoo generally only send auto replies for these requests and only direct replies if you forget info they need: include the URL, group title and category it should be in
