I received a phone call at about 2:30 am, My mom answered, there was no one there.. the person kept calling, sometimes it would ring once and hang up, or it would ring until someone answered it. This continued until 3:00 am when we unplugged the phones. We don't have caller-id, so i don't know who is calling. My mom is sick, and i'm very scared it might be my mom's ex- boyfriend (who was very abusive.) I don't want them calling again, and i don't know what to do if they do call.

Help, please..

  1. dial *69 i think thats what it is too see who the last person that called you was. and then if thats his phone number call your provider and put a block on that telophone number, then call the cops and file harrassment charges.

Edit - Scince you tried *69 that means they blocked the number. Call the cops and telll them, they can track where the phone number came from, and they will file the charges automatically.

  2. Call the Police. Let them take care of it. Turn off the ringers at night so you wont be bothered.

  3. You have to call the phoen company first, and ask them if you have tracing service on your phone.

then use *57 to initiate the trace after they call.  Then!

Then call the authorities and tell them you have a call traced, they will have to get the information from the phone company, but only after a subpeona is issued.  I assure you, the phone company does not have access to see who it is that called you.

You can also (if you know the number) dial *60 and add that number to your block list.

  4. change ur number and file a restraining order on his skankass
